The Annapurna range is a massif in the Himalayas of north-central Nepal, containing Annapurna I, the world's tenth-highest peak, as well as numerous other peaks over 7,000 meters. It is a popular destination for trekking and climbing, known for its challenging alpine landscapes, stunning scenery, and the protective Annapurna Conservation Area. The massif is defined by the Kali Gandaki Gorge to the west and the Marshyangdi River to the north and east.
